Delete your account

You can delete your TaskJar account and its associated personal data at any time, either from inside the app or by emailing us.
Delete it yourself, in the app
- Open TaskJar and sign in.
- Tap the gear icon in the top-left of the app header to open Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom, past Log Out, and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account is removed immediately.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you are the owner of an organisation, deleting your account does not delete the organisation or its data — contact us if you want the whole organisation removed.
Or ask us to do it
Email [email protected] from the address on your account. We action deletion requests within 30 days, and we may ask you to confirm ownership of the account first.
What gets deleted
- Your sign-in credentials and authentication record (email, password, verified phone number).
- Your membership of your organisation, including your profile, role and permissions.
- Your subscription record.
- Any outstanding invitation to your email address.
What stays, and why
- Work you created for a team — tasks, photos, videos, comments, notes, time records and completion reports remain with the organisation they belong to. They are that business's operational and job records, and other members rely on them.
- Records we are required to keep — a limited set of billing and accounting records is retained where law requires it, and is not used for any other purpose.
If you want content you created removed from an organisation as well, ask the owner or administrator of that organisation, or email us and we will help.
